About the agency: Developed by the Community Development Council Durham and Durham Region Social Services.Based on the Toronto Rent Bank and research was done on Rent Banks in the U.S. We also administer Winter Warmth Fund, LEAP, Energy Fund and a Community Trust Fund.
Eligibility Criteria: Anyone can apply.
Accepting applications from: Ontario Works, ODSP, E.I. recipients, employed individuals
Maximum loan provided: Up to 2 months of rent
Funded by: Province of Ontario
The Community Development Council Durham also administers the
Winter Warmth Fund.
