Service description
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be in an accommodation that is sustainable
- Have an N4
- Maximum Two months of arrears
Application Procedure:
Client calls in to Access Halton. Bring ID, address, contact number, social insurance, date of birth for all members (adult), contact information for landlord, an N4 if you have one and the information is all sent through.
Time to process application: The information is sent to the Co-ordinated Intervention Services (CIS). Usually processed in two to four business days, the date of eviction will also be taken into consideration.
Rent Bank loans are provided for: Anyone that qualifies. Based on your income
Accepting applications from: Everyone
Maximum grant provided: $1500. If more must be approved by caseworker
